Job Description/Responsibilities

Alon Tourism Solutions is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to support dynamic, high-impact tourism programs and collaborate with a passionate team dedicated to delivering outstanding results for clients across the tourism industry.

As the Sales and Marketing Coordinator, you will be working closely with our internal teams, keeping campaigns aligned, leads flowing, and processes running smoothly. You will be at the forefront of developing and executing Alon’s sales and marketing initiatives across all departments, helping to generate leads and conversion to sales, nurture sales relationships, promote tourism programs and events, and support the growth of Alon’s brand and online presence.

Your success in this role will depend on your ability to implement and execute effective sales and marketing strategies that align with both Alon’s and our clients’ goals.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Plan: Create and implement a comprehensive annual marketing plan to effectively promote Alon’s brand, services, and thought leadership.
  • Generate Proposal: Develop tailored proposals by defining scope, budgets, and fees, while building strong client relationships through clear communication and strategic outreach.
  • Education Clients: Actively source new client leads for all Alon training services and nurture the relationship through the client sales pipeline, from onboarding to post-contract follow-up.
  • Online Programming: Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies for Alon’s online course offerings.
  • Program Sales: Drive interest and registration for Alon’s event programming through coordinated marketing efforts, and assist with audience targeting, outreach, and follow-up to increase participation.
  • Client Sales: Collaborate with Alon’s client account teams to drive and support all stages of the sales cycle for client programs and engagements. Track and report on sales pipeline activity using CRM tools, offering insights and recommendations to clients for improvement.
  • Brand Marketing: Increase Alon’s brand awareness by managing and enhancing its presence through creating marketing material, website maintenance, and strategic social media engagement.
  • Asset Development: Create high-quality, engaging, and brand aligned materials that support each department’s event activations to effectively communicate key messages, and drive audience engagement and generate leads.
  • Research and Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis; attend relevant industry webinars to stay updated on trends and innovations, applying key insights to enhance sales strategies and marketing initiatives.
  • Reporting: Provide regular status updates to leadership on your project updates through KPIs and campaign performance.
  • CRM Maintenance: Collaborate with the admin team to ensure timely and accurate data entry, keeping all leads and contacts up-to-date in the CRM system.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Alon team on all aspects of sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Other Duties: Perform ad-hoc tasks as needed and within the scope of your role.

Experience & Education:

  • Education: Associate degree
  • Experience: Minimum four years in sales, marketing, or a similar role
  • Preferred Experience: Hospitality, tourism, graphic design, event planning, sales, consulting, marketing, branding, or customer relationship management
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), email marketing software, and excellent organizational skills

Position Details:

Starting Salary: $40,000 – $50,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00AM - 5:30PM EST
