Are the pre-conference meetings open to everyone?
The pre-conference meetings on the morning of April 22 are open to all registered attendees of the 2026 New York State Tourism Conference.
If you are not registered for the Conference but would like to attend, please note that the sessions will have limited seating and restored attendees will be prioritized. If you are not registered and interested in attending, please contact rachele@nystia.org. She will take your name down and let you know if there are seats available shortly before the 22nd.

Help! I am having issues booking my room.
2/11: The Delta Hotels by Marriott Utica is currently fully booked, however we have multiple nearby partner hotels secured for you to choose from with fabulous rates!

Can I travel to Utica by train?
Attendees can arrive at and depart from Utica Union Station via Amtrak. Courtesy of Amtrak, passengers can book their travel at a 15% discount.
The discount will be automatically applied when qualifying travel is selected, or passengers can use the Amtrak app and enter code V639 when booking their trip.

Are ride share companies active in Utica?
We have confirmation from our colleagues in Oneida County Tourism that Uber and Lyft are available in Utica.
