Membership Committee
Make NYSTIA Membership a part of your mission!
The membership committee meets monthly to review NYSTIA programming, communications, activities and outreach, ensuring that NYSTIA:
- Fulfills its mission to facilitate member success and pursue the best interests of New York State's tourism industry.
- Provides a collegial culture welcoming to all, developing a true sense of community and mutual support.
- Engages in outreach to prospective members who would both benefit from and add value to the member experience.
- Dynamically innovates, adapts and adjusts in response to member input, needs, and environmental factors impacting the tourism industry and best practice.
The membership committee also coordinates the efforts of the Ambassadors Council in member relations and development.
Individuals serving on the membership committee are expected to actively participate and support the NYSTIA staff in fostering a robust membership community.
