2025 Holiday / PTO Multimedia Marketing Initiative:

Now’s the time to invite all those New Yorkers to use their 2025 PTO to visit your destination or attraction. Think holidays, visiting friends and family, taking a long weekend to shop or to unwind. The kids will have time off from school and the weather just may be perfect for skiing… so many reasons to encourage this audience to explore nearby New York. Whatever you have to offer, we will get the message out.

How does it work?
Advance Travel & Tourism and NYSTIA are partnering to offer New York destinations an opportunity to take advantage of this incredible audience to encourage New Yorkers who haven’t used up their PTO to visit your destination.  Advance Travel & Tourism’s network of sites and our first party data affords us the opportunity to reach travel intenders, families and weekend warriors efficiently and easily. We will incorporate our precise targeting capabilities to reach any corner of New York State. Advance Travel & Tourism will get your message in front of the right audience.  The campaigns will be in market for up to 60 days - but all campaigns must be completed by December 31, 2025.

This initiative is supported in part by the New York State Tourism Industry Association and by a Market New York grant from Empire State Development and I LOVE NY/New York State’s Division of Tourism, awarded through the Regional Economic Development Council.


Holiday Multimedia Marketing Initiative details & support:

  • Digital Display Campaign:* 500,000 impressions - $5,000 campaign value - YOUR Investment: $2,500! NYSTIA Initiative Support: $2,500;
  • In-Story Video* Campaign:* 310,000 impressions - $6,200 campaign value - YOUR Investment: $3100! NYSTIA Initiative Support: $3,100;
  • Social Media/Meta Campaign:* $7,000 campaign value - YOUR Investment: $3,500! NYSTIA initiative Support:$3,500;
    • Inspire your target audience to engage and learn more about your destination. Clever copy coupled with images or video of your destination are what appeal to Meta users. Capture their attention.

* Ask us about the Value-Add Bonus with client supplied creative!

Advance Travel & Tourism will provide a report for each participant showing you results of your campaign and the aggregate campaign completion.

Space Reservation: October 31, 2025

Advertising Creative: November 7, 2025

  • We encourage you to include the phrases 'Take Off New York' and/or 'Visit Nearby New York'
  • Please submit your ads to Rachele Markle, Rachele@nystia.org for brand review and approval.

By completing and submitting this form, I acknowledge my organization will be invoiced by NYSTIA for our participant investment for the 2025 'Take Off New York State' Holiday / PTO Multimedia Marketing Initiative.

I further understand and agree

  • New York State-sourced funding (e.g. Tourism Matching Funds, etc.) cannot be used for my partner match investment for the 2025 Travel Trade Sales Programs Initiative.
  • Program advertising will include I LOVE NEW YORK branding, legal language and/or Market New York program statements as required. Advance Media NY Travel & Tourism will coordinate with NYSTIA to oversee the inclusion of this content and NYSTIA will liaison with New York State to secure final approval.
