2024 Marketing Initiative: Travel Trade Virtual Sales Meetings Co-Op

Program Capacity: Up to 9 eligible New York State DMOs, Destinations and/or suppliers
will participate in pre-organized NYS focused virtual sales calls with key international and domestic operator businesses to develop strategic relationships together. The participating NYS tourism businesses will be introduced to international inbound tour operators, destination management companies, and domestic tour operators across the major gateways of the United States (New York City, Florida, and California)

Three (3) Client Meetings/Day * Twelve (12) Total Client Meetings

During each appointment, the suppliers will hear from the travel trade buyer and then present their business to personnel who facilitate bookings and product set-up. Suppliers will have the opportunity to make personal connections with travel trade buyers across the country without leaving your desk!

* Destination investments cannot involve any NYS sourced funding such as NYS Tourism matching funds or NYS sourced EDA grant support.

1Travel trade is an industry term used to describe both international and domestic 3rd party resellers of travel collectively. B2B relationships are developed with the travel trade who contract with tourism suppliers and sell their products to visitors providing the opportunity for repeat, volume, and off-peak seasonal business.
