NYSTIA is organized for the purposes of bringing together New York State tourism industry interests to: advocate government policies and programs which will strengthen the industry; to raise the level of professionalism within the industry; to encourage the development of cooperative relationships and partnerships among its members; and to raise consumer awareness and appreciation of travel and vacation opportunities in New York State.

NYSTIA Calls for Nominations: Tourism Excellence Awards

The New York State Tourism Industry Association will recognize leaders in New York State’s tourism industry who have achieved a high level of excellence and accomplishment. Winning individuals or organizations are selected on the basis of demonstrated commitment, leadership, and accomplishment in the travel and tourism sector for the calendar year 2015. CVB Update: Peggy Coleman Joins as Vice President, Tourism and Community Relations

Ithaca, NY- The Ithaca/Tompkins County Convention and Visitors Bureau, a division of the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce, announced today that Peggy Coleman has been hired as the new Vice President, Tourism and Community Relations.
