NYSTIA Advocacy 'Open Floor' Session. Monday, February 9, 2026, 10:00 - 10:30 AM

Hosted by the NYSTIA Advocacy Committee, the quarterly Open Floor Advocacy Sessions are designed to connect you with your tourism colleagues for candid, peer-to-peer dialogue on all things advocacy and legislation shaping New York’s tourism industry.

  • Hear how fellow members are protecting budgets, engaging new legislators, and navigating local challenges;
  • Share what you’re facing and gain insight from peers tackling similar issues;
  • Talk openly about what’s working, and what’s not!

These sessions are formulated to be open discussions where you are encouraged to unmute, share experiences, exchange ideas, and learn from one another. By convening regularly, NYSTIA hopes to better understand the challenges and opportunities you are facing and ensure our advocacy efforts continue to reflect the real needs of our membership.

The inaugural Open Floor Session will take place on Monday, February 9, from 10:00 to 10:30 AM. We’ll also be gathering feedback on NYSTIA’s Tourism: It’s Everybody’s Business materials to ensure they meet your needs in 2026 and beyond. We invite your feedback on how the documents could be improved to best support your budget discussions and legislative outreach.
