Amplifying Local Voices

Cayuga County Tourism

The Cayuga Tourism Advocacy Campaign elevates local voices to tell the story of tourism through the people who live, work, and invest in the community. Local business owners and regional partners were invited to share, in their own words, why they support the tourism office and what tourism means to them, their businesses, and Cayuga County as a whole. These stories highlight collaboration, economic impact, and the shared belief that tourism strengthens the county for everyone.

Highlighting the Impact Behind the Story

Orange County Tourism
This testimonials video was created to showcase the real impact of our work and the value of our partnerships. Making Orange County, NY look fun and inviting is part of the job, but it’s done with intention and strategy. Local partners were invited to share, in their own words, how they work with our team and why that partnership matters. Their stories highlight how our role as a strategic marketing resource and connection point helps drive visitation, support local businesses, and position Orange County as a destination people genuinely want to experience.

Tourism marketing budgets are increasingly under pressure, something we’ve seen right here in the Hudson Valley. This reinforces the need "to do more" to "get more." By taking a deeper dive into our own community and partnerships, we not only encourage local spending but also give our partners the tools and visibility they need to be more successful.
