Livingston Manor, NY (May 1, 2018) – Condé Nast Traveler today announced the winners of its 2018 Hot List with The DeBruce recognized as one of the 102 hottest hotel openings of the last year.

The Condé Nast Traveler Hot List recognizes the best properties around the world that have opened their doors in the past year and uncovers the top trends inspiring modern travelers. The full list of properties on the 2018 Hot List can be found here.

"Our annual Hot List is an all-encompassing review and selection of our favorite new hotel openings of the past year," said Pilar Guzmán, editor-in-chief of Condé Nast Traveler. “By celebrating the very best, we hope to help set a standard for those who follow so that when we return decades down the road, we will still recognize and be transformed by these places."

“We're so proud of our work in the opening of The DeBruce and to be recognized by Condé Nast Traveler's coveted 2018 Hot List is the icing on the cake," said Sims Foster, co-founder of Foster Supply Hospitality. “This part of the Catskills has been, and always will be, home for us and we are thrilled to provide another meaningful reason for travelers to experience it. It's an honor and privilege to share this award with the warm and caring team of professionals that work with us, the passionately driven culinary team, and all of our guests that have stayed with us and inspired us this past year."

The DeBruce, which opened in May 2017, is a 14-room lodge in New York's Catskills region from Foster Supply Hospitality, the team behind The Arnold House, North Branch Inn and Nine River Road. Perched on 600 acres of private land in Catskill Park, the lodge boasts direct access to the Willowemoc River, private hiking trails, and more. The DeBruce's culinary program, led by Chef Aksel Theilkuhl, strives to showcase a hyper-personal connection to farmers, purveyors, butchers and fishermen in DeBruce's backyard, with highlights including a nightly, nine-course tasting menu.
