NEW YORK STATE TOURISM INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
2. ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Void in Puerto Rico, U.S. territories, possessions, and where prohibited by law. Employees of the New York State Tourism Industry Association ("Sponsor"), its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, and immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
3. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins on August 26, 2026, at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time ("ET") and ends on September 18, 2026, at 11:59:59 PM ET (the "Sweepstakes Period"). Sponsor's computer is the official time-keeping device for this Sweepstakes.
4. HOW TO ENTER: Go to www.nystia.org and complete the official online entry form during the Sweepstakes Period. Limit one (1) entry per eligible adult/individual. Multiple entries from the same person or email address will be disqualified.
5. PRIZE AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (ARV): One (1) winner will receive a prize package with a total ARV of $550. The prize is non-transferable, and no substitution, assignment, or cash equivalent/substitute is permitted.
6. WINNER SELECTION AND ODDS: One (1) potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The drawing will take place on or about September 21, 2026. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
7. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND CLAIMING PRIZE: The potential winner will be notified via email within three (3) business days of the drawing. If a potential winner cannot be reached, fails to respond within seven (7) business days of the initial notification email, or fails to claim the prize, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected via random drawing.
8. PUBLICITY AND WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT: The verified winner’s name will be posted publicly on www.nystia.org. Except where prohibited by law, entry constitutes permission to use the winner's name, likeness, and home state for promotional purposes without further payment, consideration, or consent.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, incomplete, or technically damaged entries. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the promotion.
