New Location & Continuing Traditions at the 2026 Great New York State Fair

As my 13-day 'fair-cation' came to an end last week, I am excited to report that we went through a wide variety of guides, which I feel is do to the quality of the guides from our tourism champions. Fairgoers were looking for information on attractions to explore all across the state. I did notice that Fairgoers asked about outdoor activities and cultural attractions to visit.

We also continue to develop a good working relationship with the New York State Fair staff as well. We were located in the middle of the Horticulture Building this year, where we saw more traffic from our location alone. Our booth was neighboring I LOVE NEW YORK, the Maple Producers of New York, and Taste NY. 

The biggest takeaway is that our booth continues to be a tradition for fairgoers! A few fairgoers returned from years prior to take a photo at our photo kiosk, which they have done every year. Everyone was amazed by the depth and breath of information we offered. 

We could not do this with the our the help of our volunteers. Showcasing their destinations and networking with one another. Kellie Christopher with the Corning Museum of Glass Shared:
