The Museum Association of New York (MANY) recently spread the word regarding grant funding by the William G. Pomeroy Foundation, offering several professional development opportunities for small historical societies in New York State.
The $1,000 award can be used for any or all of the following:
- One year MANY membership
- One year NYCON membership
- Registration and travel to MANY's annual conference
- Another professional development opportunity of your choice.
Qualifications:
- 501(c)3 Historical Society in New York State
- Annual budget cannot exceed $50,000
- One grant per organization per year
- Cannot have attended the MANY conference in 2016 or 2017
- A final report on your professional development experience is due to The William G. Pomeroy Foundation by the end of the calendar year.
