Program I. LIVE EVENT: New York State Travel Trade Marketplace & Reception
Connecting New York State destinations and tourism suppliers to domestic and international buyers

Join us for an exciting opportunity to showcase your New York State destination or tourism business to key international and domestic inbound travel trade buyers. This interactive sales opportunity allows you to present your elevator pitch in an open forum format, giving you the chance to connect with buyers, promote your tourism products, and build valuable relationships that can lead to direct B2B sales and ROI.
Following the Marketplace, you will join a reception including food and drinks where you can continue the conversation and network with invited buyers in a more casual setting.

Now in its third year, the updated version of the New York State Marketplace & Reception offers an opportunity to strengthen and build relationships with International Receptive Operators, Domestic Group Operators, and DMCs.
What’s Included:
- Virtual orientation meeting via Zoom prior to event;
- Attendance for one representative per company;
- Invitation to the Networking Reception following the Marketplace;
- Contact sheet with QR code linking to digital sales material provided to all buyers at the Marketplace;
- All buyer contacts made at the Marketplace will be shared post-event;
- Alon will administer an initial thank you email to all invited buyers to kickstart follow-ups.

This program will introduce you to the top international tour operators from key inbound markets to New York State, as well as DMCs, domestic tour operators, and international receptive operators based in the major tourism gateways of the United States – New York, Florida, and California.
The virtual sessions feature a dynamic format where participants are organized into pods, each engaging with three buyers during two-hour meetings.
This is an opportunity for you to participate in managed sales calls to develop strategic relationships to grow your business’ distribution network, all with a New York State focus! As unprecedented staff changes have uprooted our industry, now is the time to focus on building new and strengthening existing partnerships.

1Travel trade is an industry term used to describe both international and domestic 3rd party resellers of travel collectively. B2B relationships are developed with the travel trade who contract with tourism suppliers and sell their products to visitors providing the opportunity for repeat, volume, and off-peak seasonal business.
