Strap on your skis, lace up your skates, or pull on your hiking boots—the FEBRUARY 15 challenge is on! Complete 15 miles anywhere in the Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor before February 28th to claim your status as a FEBRUARY 15 finisher. Head out to your local park, state park, the Canalway Trail, or even into your own neighborhood—if it’s in the corridor, it counts!
The Canalway Corridor is full of great places to explore in winter. Here are a few of our favorites:
- Montezuma Audubon Center, Savannah
- Seneca Lake State Park, Geneva
- Great Bear Springs Recreation Area, Fulton
- Clinton Square, Syracuse (outdoor skating)
- Green Lakes State Park, Fayetteville
