Can you believe it’s time for another round of nominations for the Tourism Excellence Awards? It seems like just the other day we were in Rochester with our colleagues, celebrating and highlighting the winners from 2022. Our committee is excited to see what’s in store for 2023, and that’s where we need your help to nominate.
Throughout my involvement in the judging process, I've been consistently impressed with the high quality of nominations. I firmly believe in the importance of nominating DMOs, attractions, and even ourselves for stand-out campaigns and projects. These awards help us support one another and show recognition of our peers. They also give us a glimpse into the remarkable work taking place across our state. I've said it year after year, but I genuinely believe these awards serve as a source of inspiration.
As someone who’s had the honor of being nominated and won a Tourism Excellence Award, I can attest to how meaningful and exciting it is to be acknowledged by our industry, particularly in a state known for its high standards and wide variety of offerings.
We’re fortunate to live and work in New York, and the Tourism Excellence Awards provide a platform to give us a glimpse into all the wonderful aspects of our state.
