Research Report, 'Farm to Stay' Grants, Partnership with New York Cider Association -

In celebration and support of the legacy and growing footprint of the cider industry, Airbnb, the New York Cider Association and New York State have partnered to showcase key regions for hard cider, bringing guests straight to the source of exceptional cider throughout the Empire State.
As the nation’s leading producer—boasting more active cideries than any other state—New York is truly THE state of cider. From seed to sip, the industry is a critical part of the state’s history as well as its future, with $1.8 billion in economic impact – $178M of that impact comes directly from tourism related spending. Airbnb also announced a new report last week focusing on the impact and benefits of farm stays. As economic pressure squeezes American farms and ranches,the report finds hosting on the platform earned the typical farm stay host close to $8,000 last year, with US farms on Airbnb earning nearly $120 million in 2025. To help make this opportunity even more accessible, Airbnb and American Farmland Trust are announcing the ‘Farm to Stay’ Grant Program, which will offer farmers and ranchers up to $10,000 per grant to start or expand an agritourism stay or experience.
