With business and international travel spending still down compared to 2019—while inflation remains high and a recession looms—please join U.S. Travel in urging congress to act before the end of the year on policies that restore business and international travel, support travel workers and help our businesses overcome significant headwinds.

Please Co-Sign the Industry Letter Asking Congress to:

  • ADDRESS LONG VISA WAIT TIMES: By enacting the Visitor Visa Wait Time Reduction Act (H.R. 9141), which directs State to prioritize visa processing resources on the consular posts with the highest demand and longest wait times.
  • SUPPORT THE SERVICE WORKER ECONOMIC STABLIZATION ACT (H.R. 9231): This bipartisan bill would temporarily remove disincentives in the tax code that discourage companies from spending on in-person meetings and business travel.
  • PASS THE OMNIBUS TRAVEL AND TOURISM ACT (S. 3375): The bill includes the bipartisan Visit America Act (H.R. 6965/ S. 1947), which would establish an Assistant Secretary of Travel and Tourism at the Department of Commerce.
