Fred Bonn, Regional Director of the Finger Lakes Parks at New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, will speak on New York's Great Outdoors on Thursday afternoon as part of the 2023 NYS Tourism Conference held in Oswego, NY on April 19-21. Fred will speak on the new attractions and cutting-edge digital tools opening in 2023 and how State Parks can support your destination's promotional efforts.

Fred Bonn was appointed to be the Regional Director for New York State's Finger Lakes Region in 2013. In that role he oversees the operations and management of over 30 facilities including such flagship parks as Watkins Glen State Park, Taughannock Falls State Park and hidden gems like Stony Brook State Park and Long Point State Park. Prior to 2013 Fred served as the Director of the Ithaca/Tompkins County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
