Fall Survey Update: Canadian and U.S. Travel Sentiment & Behavior

Oct 21, 2025

Canadian and U.S. Travel Behavior - Fall 2025 Update

In previous presentations and webinars on this topic, Rove shared survey findings from Leger, a Canadian firm specializing in travel and tourism research. Their initial May study explored Canadian attitudes toward U.S. travel. Leger has now completed a follow-up Fall study, providing a more comprehensive view by comparing summer travel intentions with actual trips taken. Key findings include:

  • Canadian travelers continued to show strong support for local travel and followed through on their lower intentions to visit the U.S. during summer 2025.
  • The report also provides a snapshot of American travel sentiment, revealing that most U.S. travelers opted for domestic destinations this summer, with limited interest in Canada.

You’ll find more compelling insights in the full report here.
