Travel Show Update
It was an honor to represent our members in Cleveland and Springfield this weekend!
This weekend, NYSTIA staff traveled to Cleveland, OH and Springfield, MA to participate in extremely busy travel shows. We're proud to represent our members and gratified by the reaction our eye-catching new booth elements. More booth upgrades are being planned!
- Off-season pacing vs actuals: 2022 and 2021 data for mid-August through mid-November suggests that while advance booking vs actual booking data during summer months indicate advance planning, off-season travelers are much more likely to make decisions 'in-the-moment', requiring 'just-in-time' marketing strategies for destinations.
- Growth in volume, but the rate of growth appears to be declining: The short-term rental market continues to grow year-over-year, but the growth rate seems to be declining.
