November 1: Thank you for making the 2022 Annual Meeting a Success!

Thank YOU For Making the 2022 Annual Meeting & Tourism Excellence Awards a Success!

On behalf of the board and staff of the New York State Tourism Industry Association, I would like to thank the 160+ attendees who joined us in New York City. While it is important to manage what is happening at the front of the room, it is our members that we strive to serve and whose participation is vital to a successful event. This was by far the best-attended Annual Meeting in NYSTIA's history and we continue to build momentum!

We also extend our gratitude to our partners, presenters, the team at our host hotel The NEW YORKER (shout out to Ann Peterson, General Manager), and our market host NYC & Company (thank you, Kelly Ann Curtin). Thank you to our New York State Tourism Excellence Awards presenting partner Advance Media New York / NY Up who provided a spectacular Sizzle Reel for our ceremony (kudos to Bridget Cerrone) and NYSTIA Annual Meeting presenting partner rove for bringing us a riveting Friday morning keynote program (well done, James Sauter!). Ross Levi and his colleagues at I LOVE NY/ESD once again provided us with a terrific overview of 'the state of the industry' and the supportive work being done to assist us in growth and recovery. And finally, for her efforts ensuring that NYSTIA members got to 'Experience NYC' in grand style during Wednesday's offsite excursion, a salute to event committee member Hayley Coriaty from One World Observatory, who was also elected to our board of directors!

I would be remiss if I did not add a note of thanks to the NYSTIA staff - Rachele Markle, Nate Gresock, and Brooke Wilson. They work tirelessly on your behalf and deserve to be recognized for their commitment to our members. - Bob Provost

Congratulations to the 2022 Tourism Excellence Awards Honorees!

The 2022 NYSTIA Annual Meeting culminated with a special awards ceremony Thursday evening at the New Yorker Hotel. Thank you to co-Emcees Ross Levi and Josiah Brown - you are both rock stars! Congratulations to all of the Honorees for their exemplary work in the past year! View the Photos
