Two Cities, Two Shows: Your Tourism Champions Booth in Massachusetts and Ohio

Your New York State Tourism Champions booth was in two cities this weekend. Brooke Wilson was at the Dream Destinations Travel Show at the MGM Springfield in Springfield MA, and Nate Gresock was at the AAA Cleveland Vacation Expo at the Embassy Suites Cleveland Rockside.

At the Dreams Destinations Travel Show we had a double booth on a corner as people entered the ballroom. Our booth was showcased on the local news channel and was complemented for being a very attractive, eye catching set up. There was a variety of interest in the different destinations across the state, such as the Hudson Valley, Capital Region, and Finger Lakes. Attendees were interested in taking home guides to the areas where their children attend college, especially for weekend trips within driving distance.

We also had a double corner booth at the AAA Cleveland Vacation Expo, which drew a good amount of traffic. The show attracted a mix of retirees and families, many with a special interest in museums and cultural experiences, while others were looking to explore New York’s wineries.

At the end of the Expo, AAA advisors stopped by the booth to take a variety of travel guides to distribute at their offices. They were excited about being able to provide additional information about New York State destinations!
