The Gem and Little Gem Celebrate Their First Anniversary in Bolton Landing

Jun 26, 2023

BOLTON LANDING, NY — The Gem and Little Gem Liquors celebrated their first anniversary on Friday, June 23, with a ribbon cutting ceremony and celebration!

This celebration included a sneak peak at their new amazing vintage camper in their backyard garden! This new addition to the business will serve food and cocktails to-go, which people can order online and pick up at the airstream. This offers a great option for people looking to take food and cocktails on the go to their homes or campsites or out on their boats.

At the one-year celebration guests enjoyed The Gem’s classic smokehouse offerings, and tasted new dishes including Smokehouse Chicken Wings and the Baltimore Pit Beef Sandwich. They also showcased their seasonal Summer 2023 cocktail menu — including the popular Ramos Gin Fizz — and unveiled brand new merch.

“The Gem has been a great addition to Bolton Landing because of the Boccato and Farmer’s curation of their food and beverage offerings.  Their bourbon collection is among the finest in the region and the dedication to craft cocktails makes for a fun dining experience. The new airstream food truck offers diners even more options to enjoy their food and drinks on the go,” said Gina Mintzer, Executive Director of the Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce & CVB.

The Gem has an exciting summer ahead, including events like the Saturday Night Blues Music Series featuring award-winning blues artists who will be playing in the garden.  “Smoked meats, Cocktails and Blues — it does not get more summer than that!”

“Today’s ribbon cutting was such a great way to celebrate our one year anniversary at The Gem. It was really special to be surrounded by the community members that have helped us make this dream a reality. And, to all the new friends who came out , thank you so much for your support, we are so excited to kick off the season with you.” — Kristan Keck & Chef Kirby Farmer.

“Going into our second year we are excited to continue to grow and connect with the local community. We have such an amazingly talented team this year, we are grateful for the welcoming support of the entire Adirondack region.  In the spirit of adventure, which has inspired this entire project, the new food and cocktail to-go camper is designed for people to be able take food and beverage to their homes or on their outdoor day trips.” — Paty & Richard Boccato.
