The Niagara Falls Convention Center, managed by Destination Niagara USA, is pleased to announce the addition of Sarah Bubar as Sales Manager.
Bubar joins the NFCC sales team following several years with the Merani Hotel Group, where she previously served as Catering Sales Manager before most recently working as Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Administrator. In her new role, Bubar will focus on attracting meetings, conferences, sporting events and group business to Niagara Falls USA and Niagara County. Bubar succeeds longtime NFCC employee Tom Acara, who retired in April after years of dedicated service helping grow meetings and convention business in the destination.
“The work of our sales team is crucial in bringing year-round business to Niagara Falls USA,” said John Percy, President and CEO of Destination Niagara USA. “The conventions, meetings and events hosted at the Niagara Falls Convention Center help expand the economic impact of visitors well beyond the traditional tourism season, driving business to local hotels, attractions, restaurants and shops throughout Niagara County. We are excited to welcome Sarah to the team and look forward to the experience and energy she brings to this important role.”
In 2025, events at the Niagara Falls Convention Center generated an estimated economic impact of nearly $20 million for the local economy. Located in the heart of downtown Niagara Falls, the Niagara Falls Convention Center offers flexible meeting and event space for conventions, trade shows, sporting events, banquets and conferences, while serving as a key driver of economic activity throughout Niagara County.
