Since launching in 2017, they've partnered with ambitious organizations — from destination marketing boards to regional economic development agencies — to close strategic gaps, clarify their narrative, and scale their visibility. Carol is an Award-winning brand strategist, storyteller, and founder of Brave World Media. 25+ years building brands that mean something. She was named a 2026 MBE Awardee for the Southern Tier Region by the City of Rochester's Upstate MWBE Conference. She's also a travel writer, Forbes Next 1000, and is Rooted in the Finger Lakes, working everywhere. She's also an avid photographer.
Travis has an impressive, award-winning branding and graphic design career that spans over 3 decades. He ran his own design studio for several years before moving to New York City to attend the School of Visual Arts where he earned an MFA in Design. During his career he has had the pleasure of working with clients such as: The Green Bay Packers, Sundance Channel, Penguin/Viking Books, MTV, Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, KidRobot, Trek Bicycles, Kiehl’s Since 1851, and Finger Lakes Wine Country. His work has been honored by The One Club, The Art Director’s Club, ID Magazine, Graphis, Communication Arts, PRINT, HOW and the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum.
Besides running a marketing agency, Travis and Carol have a mobile coffee business called Café Cómodo which keeps them busy! When not running 2 businesses, they love spending time with their 3 sons, 1 of which lives in Brooklyn and the other 2 currently attend SUNY schools here in upstate New York.
