Hayley Coriaty is part of the Marketing & Hospitality team for Great Jones Distilling Co., Manhattan's first legal whiskey distillery on the island in over 100 years. As the Tourism Liasion for the business, she oversees the tours, experience programs and events for Great Jones Distilling Co. and helps the business get their roots into New York Tourism through ILOVENY, NYSTIA, NYC & Company, NYC Chamber of Commerce, Hotel Concierge, MPI, and HSMAI.
Great Jones Distilling Co. is Manhattan's first legal whiskey distillery–operating since Prohibition. They offer unique distillery tours, a full-service restaurant, a speakeasy, one-of-a-kind event spaces, cocktail mixology classes, and culinary pairing experiences. "I have been lucky in my career to work alongside some of the best creative minds on working to get Great Jones Distillery to be a Bourbon world re-noun and a staple in everyone's household," said Hayley. "We see ourselves as Manhattan's Bourbon being made with 100% New York grain from the Black Dirt Region, but furthermore as America's Bourbon!"
Hayley has been a lifelong resident and community partner of Orange County, New York before moving to Manhattan. She has a passion for Hospitality & Tourism and graduated from the State University of Plattsburgh with a degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management and a minor in Business.
She worked in the hotel industry for a Marriott and Hilton property for over four years before being brought on as the first local employee hired to launch LEGOLAND® New York Resort. She wore many hats at LEGOLAND New York during her five-year tenure, but her most notable achievements include building the Community Relations department, where she created and nurtured high-level relationships around New York State and related tourism platforms, and project managing different business implementations to launch LEGOLAND Vacation, Hotel development, Guest experience & Communication, and relative business partnerships. "Being in the Hospitality and Tourism industry and building roots for LEGOLAND New York Resort, I was so excited to be introduced to some of the best people in New York State Tourism through NYSTIA."
Hayley lives in Manhattan and loves exploring new restaurants, museums, attractions and community organizations around the city. She loves spending time with her family who still reside in Orange County. She enjoys traveling, cooking, and is passionate about advocating for people with disabilities. She sits on the board for Beautiful People, Inc., a non-profit organization that provides adaptive sports for children and young adults with disabilities. She is also on the board of Leadership Orange, a non-profit organization that develops emerging leaders in the community. She enjoys volunteering at the local homeless shelter of Orange County, NY on Thanksgiving mornings and giving back to others wherever needed.
Hayley is proud to be part of the tourism community and hopes to continue to guide, mentor, and support businesses in the hospitality and tourism industry!
