Updates from the Albany County Revolutionary War 250th Commission
Join us Friday morning at the 250 Commemoration Summit to hear from Maeve McEneny-Johnson, Director of Community Engagement at Discover Albany and Albany County Legislator Jeff Perlee, who will provide brief updates from Albany County's 250th Commission.
County Legislator Perlee is the Chair of the Commission and Maeve is the Vice Chair.

About Maeve
Maeve McEneny-Johnson is the Director of Community Engagement at Discover Albany and the Vice-Chair of the Albany County Revolutionary War 250th Commission. She manages the cultural & heritage tourism program at Discover Albany and had has created a multitude of cultural programs to engage both locals and visitors alike.
About Jeff
Jeff Perlee is chair of the Albany County Revolutionary War 250th Commission and the Albany County Legislator representing the 31st Legislative District, which covers much of the iconic Indian Ladder and Helderberg region.
A native of Altamont, Jeff was educated in the Guilderland Schools, and holds a B.A. from Hobart College and a J.D. from Duke University. He practiced land use law in Illinois and later returned to the Capital District to serve as Director (CEO) of the New York Lottery. Jeff served two terms as Commissioner of the Capital-Saratoga State Park commission and he retains a keen interest in forestry, parks and conservation issues.
Jeff was co-founder of Altamont Community Tradition (ACT) and served as Director of the Guilderland YMCA, the Guilderland Food Pantry and St. John’s Lutheran Church. He was also Chair of the Empire State Winter Games and the Albany host committee for the New York Special Olympics. Jeff and his four sons live on an old family farm on the Helderberg Escarpment.
