Join us at the Akwesasne Art Market & Juried Show! It’s the North Country’s premier Indigenous arts and culture celebration showcasing incredible traditional and contemporary art created by Mohawks of Akwesasne. Experience the work of over 60 talented artists, featuring spectacular beadwork, jewelry, pottery, baskets, photography, and more! This family-friendly event is proudly presented by Akwesasne Travel.

What to expect: Dive into the vibrant art of Akwesasne and immerse yourself in a rich cultural experience!

Meet the Artists: Engage with the creators and learn the stories behind their masterpieces.

Performances and Demonstrations: Watch as art comes to life with special performances by award-winning Mohawk singer-songwriter Bear Fox, Haudenosaunee Smoke Dancers, and Hoop Dancers. Join in a friendly Haudenosaunee social led by the Native North American Traveling College! Witness demonstrations of black ash log pounding, splint basket making, traditional lacrosse stick stringing, and traditional foods preparation.

Shop Local and Unique: Browse the Market and purchase one-of-a-kind pieces directly from artists and makers. Enjoy live music by Crosswinds while sampling tasty treats from local food and beverage vendors.
