2025 Montreal International Travel & Tourism Show Recap

In a show that was a great way to close out our 2025 Travel Show Schedule, your New York State Tourism Champions booth was located for the final time in 2025 at the Montreal International Travel & Tourism Show held at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, November 7-9. We were joined in the booth by Kosta Tsimiklis from REACH GLOBAL, representing I LOVE NEW YORK, and Sylvie Nelson from SDN Innovation, providing translation services.

The three-day show attracted a diverse mix of attendees, including families, younger couples, and retirees. While Canadians are still hesitant to travel to the United States, they were encouraged by the outcome of the recent elections There remains a keen interest in visiting New York State, both by car and by train, with the most frequently asked question was about holiday activities in New York State.

The booth was on a corner next to one of the breakout rooms, with NYSTIA member booth the Adirondack Coast beside us. The booth location helped drive strong attendee traffic, and the volume of traffic through the booth left me optimistic about Canadians visiting and coming back to New York in the future.
