About the Presenters:
Jennifer Ackerson is a 25+ year veteran of the tourism industry with deep experience in every supplier category. She is an expert in educating and connecting tourism destinations/suppliers with travel trade buyers/resellers to build successful relationships that drive profits and sustained success. Jen spearheads Alon’s tourism training program “Steps to Success” in partnership with International Inbound Travel Association (IITA) and the “Tourism Ready” training program for NYC Tourism + Conventions, the official DMO of NYC. She is an expert public speaker, event planner, and global tradeshow ambassador.
Lucy Redzeposki has extensive experience in both for profit and not for profit organizations in the areas of finance, operations, human resources, commercial lending, business development and strategic management. She began her career on Wall Street working for a major bank and served as the CFO and Director of Human Resources for a manufacturing company. She is currently employed as the Director of Economic Growth & Tourism for Rockland County. In this capacity she serves as the Director for Economic Development and Tourism. She implements the County’s economic development program to promote, attract, retain and expand businesses, preserving and increasing the property tax base and employment opportunities. As the Director of Tourism, she utilizes tourism as a tool for economic development, job creation and business development by promoting the County and its facilities/events as a destination for tourists. She also developed and implemented a filming program for the County.
