Chamber Membership Manager Transitions to Senior Sales and Services Manager at LGRCVB

LAKE GEORGE, NY — The Lake George Regional Convention & Visitors Bureau (LGRCVB) announces its newest hire, Emily Frost, for the position of Senior Sales and Services Manager. This role is a transition for Frost within the organization, who previously served as Membership Manager for the Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce. The LGRCVB is a division of the Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce that serves all Warren County hospitality partners and focuses its sales efforts to bring year-round, weather-proof group business to the area in the form of meetings, conventions, reunions, sports events, weddings, and group tours.

Frost is a Queensbury native and a graduate of SUNY Potsdam. She brings her extensive background in sales to the role. Launching her professional career in Syracuse at Techtronic Industries, Frost completed a sales training program and managed a team of twelve representatives for five years. Upon her return to the Lake George region, Frost began her career as a real estate salesperson for Julie & Co. Realty. She then began her employment at the Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce in 2022.

Frost will manage a team of those promoting sales and services for event planners looking to book meetings and events in Warren County. Her position involves regular sales calls to the Albany/Capital Region based state associations and corporations in addition to regional and national contacts to ensure that the LGRCVB services are understood and made available regularly. Active participation in state, regional and national industry associations to maximize the visibility of the Lake George Area are also priorities for Frost in her role. Overall, Frost will prospect and generate new business relationships to achieve booked business and overnight room goals, and secure future bookings that will meet or exceed rate and occupancy goals of the destination partners throughout the Lake George Area.

“Emily exemplifies numerous leadership and business development skills highly valued by our clients and partners, fostering immediate connections. She possesses a deep understanding of community assets, effortlessly conveying them to both colleagues and clients. Her efforts to expand group business within Warren County, coupled with her sales experience, will be instrumental in shaping her new role.” says Gina Mintzer, Executive Director of the Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce & CVB.

Frost adds her excitement for the new role: “I’m thrilled to embark on this new journey with the Convention and Visitors Bureau. This role allows me to expand my horizons beyond Chamber membership and contribute even more to our vibrant community. I look forward to collaborating with the talented team and making significant strides toward our vision and goal of making the Lake George Area an even more desirable year-round meeting destination.”
