Chez Chesak, Executive Director of the Outdoor Writers Association of America, to Speak at 2024 NYS Tourism Conference
Chez Chesak, Executive Director of the Outdoor Writers Association of America, will speak on the recreational development for rural economies at the 2024 NYS Tourism Conference. In particular, Chez will speak on how CVB's with limited staff and financial resources can develop and maximize outdoor tourism products.
Why you should attend this session:
- Find out how to further your outdoor & adventure travel products and better communicate those assets to core audiences.
- Gain the tools you need to increase inbound tourism from outdoor enthusiasts, based on the attributes of your available outdoor adventures.
- Rural destinations, resorts, lodges and others will come away from this session with new (or perhaps additional) directions on how to further their outdoor product to increase tourism from outdoors enthusiasts.
- Multiple resources: to gauge economic impact of the outdoors in your state, case studies on success stories, finding your outdoor product niche, partners to help expand your product and/or reach, and potential funding sources.
