Our Canadian Neighbors Are Eager to Explore New York
After the New York State Tourism Conference, we brought your Tourism Champion booth to the Ottawa Outdoor + Adventure Travel Show at the Nepean Sportsplex in Ottawa, Canada.
The two-day show drew over 5,000 attendees and we had a premium corner booth location at the front of the show.
- Attendees enjoyed the amount of information at the booth and took photos of our map backdrop.
- Attendees ranged from outdoor enthusiasts to families exploring the show between swim meets or games at the sports complex.
- Attendees where primarily looking for outdoor activities and wanted to explore one of our many state parks.
- Attendees showed significantly greater interest in visiting NYS than they did one year ago, but there is still some hesitancy to come to the US, whether it is due to political tensions or economic issues.
