Until when do I have to submit nominations?

The 2023 Awards Nominations Portal closes at 11:59 PM on April 17, 2023.
Can I edit my nominations?

Unfortunately, you are unable to edit submitted nominations. However, you can email rachele@nystia.org to make changes to your entries before the closing of the portal on April 30, 2023.
Do I have to be a member of NYSTIA to submit a nomination?

No! Non-members are welcome to nominate.
Does my nominee have to be a member of NYSTIA?

No. Nominated projects, programs, campaigns, organizations and individuals must be connected to the advancement of the tourism industry in New York State, but are not required to be members of NYSTIA.
How do I submit a nomination?

The 2023 Tourism Excellence Awards Nominations Portal can be accessed through the NYSTIA website. Simply fill out the required text boxes and select the correct category in the form to submit your nomination.

Can projects and programs be submitted for more than one award category?

Yes! But, a new submission form in each selected category is required.
Can we nominate a project on the behalf of another person/organization/agency?

Yes. But, make sure that they are aware of it.
When will the 2023 recipients be honored?

The 2023 NYS Tourism Excellence Awards recipients will be honored in Rochester on September 19-21 during NYSTIA's Annual Meeting.
