Job Description / Responsibilites

This role is an integral part of our Technical Services department. This position will ensure the appearance with regard to gardens, landscapes and displays for attractions. The Landscape Manager will be responsible all the landscape and plants maintenance which is themed to rides and attractions around the park. This role will be responsible for the Miniland landscape.

In this role, you will:

  • Ensure the landscape and plans are maintained, including all grass areas, from the rough to the finest lawns
  • Maintain and develop the irrigation and wetland areas
  • Project participant in all large capital projects with influence on the landscape
  • Design the look of the plants and flowers in the park for every season
  • Create line schedules in all aspects together with the planning department
  • Develop, operate and implement planned landscape maintenance program for both inner and outer Park areas
  • Responsible for all aspects of Health, Safety & Security within the department
  • Responsible for the development of the greenery within the park and is required to be able to come up with creative ideas to solve issues or in connection with development of new concepts
  • Secure agreements and deliver agreed turnover through landscape/flower arrangements with externals

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in landscape management or similar role
  • Advanced landscape construction and plant knowledge
  • Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  • Have knowledge within the area of landscaping (landscape architect/gardener)
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Have common landscape maintenance/installations
  • Experience with planting, lawn care, pest control, fertilization, shearing, irrigation adjustment and troubleshooting, operation of all landscape equipment
  • Provide direction to and resolve problems amongst subcontractors and vendors
  • Have a positive attitude and a love for FUN!
