Job Description / Responsibilites

This role is an integral part of our Project Development department. This position will provide on-site coordination for the project, including coordinating subcontractors, material and equipment. The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for scheduling, inspections, quality control and job site safety.This role will collaborate with engineers and architects to determine the specifications of the project.

In this role, you will:

  • Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in a critical path to ensure timely completion
  • Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed
  • Communicate with the project team regarding ASI's, RFI's, and Material Submittals
  • Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of work
  • Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards
  • Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution
  • Ensure subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by project team
  • Walk on the project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning
  • Preside over weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the work
  • Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner
  • Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion
  • Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
  • Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports

  • Proven experience in construction management or similar role
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles
  • Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Outstanding knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
  • Provide direction to and resolve problems amongst 30+ subcontractors and vendors
  • Ability to identify deficient work and provide resolution
  • Have a positive attitude and a love for FUN!
