With the success of the 2021 charter program, NYSTIA has continued its partnership with The Travel Guide Group* (TTGG) to provide a special COVID Tourism Recovery Co-op to increase awareness, engagement, and visitation for participating NYSTIA member destinations and attractions. The 'NYS Virtual Travel Show' program provides dedicated travel guide and destination microsite pages for participating NYSTIA destinations hosted on www.travelguidesfree.com.

Here's how it works:

  • Member pages provide travelers with NYSTIA member content, images, and insights to inspire travel planning and drive visitation.
  • Travelers request digital and/or print guides of interest and click out to participant tourism websites for more information.
  • Destinations receive validated active traveler leads, lead reports, and opt-in requests to build email lists and generate website traffic.


NYSTIA Preferred Rates & Added Value!

NYSTIA Destination Members can participate for as low as $350/month and packages as low as $1,050; and all receive added-value bonus of dedicated microsite pages in the “destination section" with click out button (value $3,600+).

NYSTIA Special Cost Per Lead rates range from $1.30 (charter participants) to $1.75 (new participants)

Package Examples: Below are a few package examples for new program participants. You can choose any lead goal from 600 to 30,000 leads over a 12-month period.

3 Months: 600 leads (minimum commitment)
Leads per month: 200
Cost per lead: $1.75
Total Cost: $1,050

4 months: 800 leads
Leads per month: 200
Cost per lead: $1.75
Total Cost: $1,400

6 Months: 1,800 Leads
Leads per month: 300
Cost per lead: $1.75
Total Cost: $3,150

8 Months: 3,200 Leads
Leads per month: 400
Cost per lead: $1.50
Total Cost: $4,800

Each participant in the 'NYS Virtual Travel Show' receives:

  • Preferred special rates and added-value options
  • Inclusion in NYS Travel Guides Page/Virtual Travel Show on TravelGuidesFree.com
  • Travel Guide page on TravelGuidesFree.com*: Dedicated guide page for your destination including guide cover image, 4 additional images, 240 words of copy, map, and call to action to order your guide (see below)
  • Leads/Guide Requests: Volume of validated traveler lead requests interested in visiting your destination based on desired goals.
  • Weekly Lead Report: Weekly lead report including date and time stamp of request, full name, validated email and mailing address, guide format (digital and/or print) requested, optional demographic information including activities of interest, and opt-in to build your email list
  • Destination microsite pages on travelguidesfree.com: Dedicated pages for your destination in our “Destination" section organized by State, County, and City/town. Pages and content (images and copy) include the following pages/sections: Main summary, Visit/About, All Guides, and Counties/Cities.
  • Tourism button with click out: Will be on each of your destinations pages driving travelers seeking even more info to your site.
  • Inclusion of your Travel Guide on NYSTIA.org Getaways Portal Page with a link to the 'NYS Virtual Travel Show' section on www.TravelGuidesFree.com to facilitate active traveler leads at no extra charge.
  • Growth Together: In the spirit of tourism growth for all NYSTIA participants, we ask that each participant to promote the NYS Virtual Travel Show to your respective audience (via email, site post, blog, social, etc.) and display The Travel Guide Group - Proud Partner participant button with link to NYTSIA –TGF NYS Virtual Travel Show your support.

Before discounts and including value added features, the program packages range in value from $5,100 to $13,200+. The aggregate participation of NYS destinations will benefit both the participating destination partners and overall NYS tourism.
