About the Speaker James Sauter

James is Partner and Co- Founder of Rove Marketing.

With over 20 years of experience in marketing and data analysis, James brings a combination of both client and agency experience to solve marketing and business challenges. Prior to co-founding Rove Marketing, James was Executive Vice President at the international marketing firm Dentsu, leading major accounts across tourism, financial, package goods, technology, government, NGO, and retail. He brings a depth and breadth of strategic knowledge in CRM, data and technology, brand and digital marketing strategy

James led the Travel Alberta business and launched their China market expansion by developing an organization structure and processes to enable market planning, brand planning, campaign development, data planning and reporting for all China market efforts.

James is an avid traveler, an honor's graduate in Economics from Queen's University in Kingston and is a regular speaker and judge at marketing conferences and award shows.

Sally Donovan, Client Relations Lead

With a focus on data analytics and delivering marketing insights, Sally has led and managed various aspects of marketing campaigns, research projects and client accounts. With over 15 years of experience, including at direct marketing agencies, most of her career was at Aon, the leading worldwide insurance brokerage firm, in the international affinity marketing group. She has supported data and marketing research initiatives working with both domestic and international marketing teams, including Spain, Brazil and the UK.

An honor's graduate in Mathematics/Information Systems and Business from the University of Waterloo, Sally is a contributing writer to various online magazines and engages in local speaking opportunities supporting women.
