The New York State Tourism Industry Association (NYSTIA) is a 501c6 trade association with tourism industry leaders from across the industry. NYSTIA members include tourism promotion agents, destination marketing organizations, transportation companies, lodging facilities, attractions, chambers of commerce and suppliers including media, graphic design, web development, promotion and more. NYSTIA represents the New York State's tourism industry through collaboration, research, legislative awareness, cooperative digital and print media programs, an extensive consumers tour and travel shows program and a consumer friendly NewYorkGetAways Site.
The New York State Tourism Conference is an annual industry event bringing together professionals, partners and students for professional development and networking. The conference launched in 2007 as the NY Rural Tourism Conference growing and developing each year.
The conference moves around the state showcasing the diverse and exciting landscape of NYS. The sessions, workshops and key note speakers engage and inspire attendees for the coming season. NYSTIA allied members showcase themselves during breakouts and receptions educating member buyers about new and exciting products that will drive new business to their destination. The conference networking opportunities provide members to mix, mingle, share and connect.
