Director of Visitor Services, Niagara Falls USA, Lana Perlman is a proud, lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. She attended local public schools and received her degree from Niagara University's College of Hospitality & Tourism Management to stay locally and pursue her studies in a field that would allow her to stay in Niagara Falls.
After graduating from Niagara in 2008, with a B.S. in Tourism & Recreation Management, she was hired by Destination Niagara USA (formerly the Niagara Tourism & Convention Corporation), where she interned during college, as tourism sales coordinator. She's been with Destination Niagara USA since 2009, but left from 2012 to 2013 to work for the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute. In late 2013, she returned “home" to DNUSA.
Lana became the director of visitor services shortly after returning. Her duties include overseeing the operations of the Niagara Falls USA Official Visitor Center at 10 Rainbow Boulevard; developing and launching EXP Niagara, an online training program for Niagara County's hospitality workforce; overseeing DNUSA's volunteer Greeter Program and most recently, launching retail operations in their Visitor Center featuring merchandise exclusive to the Niagara Falls USA brand.
