Tom Phillips, Executive Director
Tom Phillips' arrival in Lakeland seven years ago from Pace Suburban Bus in Chicago has added an innovative approach to public transportation in Polk County resulting in the merger of all the county transit systems while still being a good steward of taxpayer's dollars.

A Minnesota native, Phillips brings 15 years of transit experience to the table which has already enabled him to increase ridership by 27 percent, reduce operating cost by 8.6 percent

Bruce Lyon
Bruce is a 20+ year veteran in community and economic development with experience in 20 states across the US. He currently brings his vision and experience to the Winter Haven (FL) Economic Development Council and is implementing a goal for balanced economic and residential growth.

Under Lyon's guidance, Winter Haven is currently realizing success in urban redevelopment, business services, healthcare, hospitality and entertainment, logistics and aviation industries.


Erin Killebrew, Director of External Affairs
Erin Killebrew is the force in the organization who can turn ideas into a reality. Whether she's lobbying a member of Congress or helping a rider who needs assistance, Killebrew is that liaison who does more than just hears what people are saying. She listens and jumps into action.

A fifth generation Floridian and daughter of Florida House of Representative member Sam Killebrew and Eileen Killebrew, Erin joined the Citrus Connection team in her role in May of 2015 after serving in the same capacity for two members of Congress. She also was a Deputy Sheriff for the Polk County Sheriff's office for seven years prior to returning to politics.


Phillip Walker, Lakeland Area Mass Transit District Chairman and Lakeland City Commissioner
Phillip Walker graduated from Kathleen High School and has a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice. He has been the owner and agency principal of a Lakeland Allstate Insurance agency since 1991. Prior to entering the private sector, Mr. Walker was a Lakeland Police Officer. In 2000.

He received the Polk Mentoring Award from Governor Jeb Bush. He serves on the Advisory Board for the Salvation Army, the Board of Directors for Good Shepherd Hospice, Christ Community Christian Center Church, Board of Trustees for McKeel Schools of Technology and a member of other organizations. As a City Commissioner, Mr. Walker serves on the following committees: Legislative Committee, Utility Committee, Finance Committee, Real Estate and Transportation, and the Transportation Planning Organization.
